The Rhino has now become an endangered species and Kenya is among the countries that are privileged to retain a large population of the remaining Rhinos. Over the years, Rhinos have been a target for poachers due to their valuable horns which consists of Ivory.
With these arising issues, the Rhino Ark Kenya Charitable Trust took the initiative to conserve and protect Kenya’s mountain range ecosystems where Rhinos and other wildlife reside. Through The Rhino Charge, Rhino Ark Kenya Charitable Trust raises funds for projects such as fencing the Aberdare National Park. This helps to mitigate human wildlife conflicts and saves the dwindling Rhino population.
